How to register Cloud Gateway using the Web Application

Link your gateway to an organization in the backoffice and troubleshoot common registration issues.

This step is done once per gateway, after the app is installed and configured. It links the camera to an organization in the backoffice so it can be used.

Confirm the environment

The frontend app environment must match the API Host configured on the camera gateway cloud application. Here can be found the environments we are currently supporting.

Add the gateway

  1. Open the frontend for the matching environment

  2. Log in with your admin account for the target organization

  3. Go to Gateways → click Add gateway

  4. Enter the following information:

    • MAC address — the value obtained in Part 2.4 or Part 3.5 (format: AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF)

    • Name — a descriptive label for this camera (location, model, site, etc.)

    • Type — what kind of device is the camera

    • Site –- where is gateway located

  5. Create

Verify the gateway is online

You can then use the configured gateway to search for cameras on its local network.
