Overview
Each site in Corvid has a configurable Video Expiration Threshold — a number of hours that determines how long after capture a video clip is considered current. Once the threshold passes, footage from that site is treated as expired for filtering and display purposes in Search and the event overlay.
Setting the expiration threshold
Go to Sites and open the site you want to configure.
Click the Settings tab.
Find the Video Expiration Threshold field.
Enter a value in hours (minimum: 1 hour).
Click Save to apply the change.
Notes
The threshold must be at least 1 hour.
This is a per-site setting — different sites can have different thresholds to reflect their individual storage or retention policies.
The threshold affects how events are classified in the Video availability filter in Search. It does not delete footage from storage.
