What is Cases?

A structured investigation workspace that lets your team group related LPR events, clips, and alarms into organized, trackable cases.

Overview

Cases help your team manage security investigations from start to finish. When an incident occurs, you can create a case and attach all relevant evidence — license plate events, video clips, alarms, and notes — to keep everything in one place.

What a Case Contains

• Title and Description — Context about what is being investigated.
• LPR Events — Plate detections linked to the incident.
• Clips — Video footage relevant to the case.
• Alarms — Triggered alerts associated with the event.
• Notes — Free-text commentary from investigators.
• Status — Open, In Progress, or Closed.

Common Use Cases

• Tracking a suspicious vehicle across multiple detection events.
• Organizing evidence for a security incident before sharing with authorities.
• Coordinating investigation across team members.
• Building a timeline of events for a parking enforcement dispute.
