Overview
When a vehicle triggers a hotlist hit and Corvid cannot determine the make or model from the live capture, it now automatically looks up prior reads of the same license plate and fills in the make and model from the most recent successful detection. This means hit events will show more complete vehicle information even when real-time recognition is inconclusive.
How it works
1. A license plate triggers a hotlist hit.
2. If the make or model cannot be determined from the current read, Corvid searches prior reads of that plate like the image above where data existed.
3. If a prior read contains confirmed make/model data, that information is applied to the hit event automatically.
4. The enriched make and model appear in the event details just like a live detection would.
Where to see it
Enriched make and model data appears in:
- The Hit Events panel in Search
- The event detail view when clicking on any hit event
- CSV exports that include make/model fields
Note: This enrichment is best-effort. If no prior reads with confirmed make/model data exist for a plate, the fields will remain undetermined.
