Overview
When a camera has SD card recordings accessible through the stream recordings API, Corvid can play them back directly from the dashboard. SD recordings appear in the camera playback view, the clip creation panel, and the timeline — using the same controls as cloud-based playback.
Where SD recordings appear
Camera playback view — SD card recordings are available as a source option when viewing a camera's playback.
Clip creation — When creating a clip, you can select the SD card as the source if recordings are available for the selected time range.
Timeline — SD recordings are displayed in the timeline alongside cloud recordings where applicable.
How to play back SD recordings
Open a camera that has SD card recordings.
In the playback view, select the SD card source from the source selector.
Use the timeline to navigate to the recording you want to view.
Press Play to start playback.
Notes
SD recording playback availability depends on the camera model and whether the stream recordings API has footage for the selected time range.
SD recordings are streamed on demand — playback requires the camera to be online and reachable.
