What is Hotlist?

A list of license plates that Corvid should watch for — when a match is detected, your team gets notified immediately.

Overview

Hotlists are the core of Corvid's alert system. You define which license plates matter — stolen vehicles, VIP access lists, banned individuals, or any custom category — and Corvid automatically flags and alerts your team every time one of those plates is detected by a camera.

Types of Hotlists

• Alert List — Plates that should trigger an immediate alarm when detected (e.g., stolen vehicles, persons of interest).
• Allow List — Plates that are authorized and should not generate alerts (e.g., employees, residents).

• Custom Categories — User-defined lists for specific use cases (e.g., VIP guests, delivery vehicles).

What You Can Do

• Create multiple hotlists for different purposes.
• Add plates manually or import them in bulk via CSV.
• Assign a priority level and notification behavior per list.
• Enable or disable individual hotlists without deleting them.
• View all recent detections matching a hotlist from one place.

How to Use It

1. Navigate to Hotlist from the sidebar.
2. Click New Hotlist and give it a name and category.
3. Add plates manually or upload a CSV file.
4. Configure the alert behavior (notify by email, SMS, push, or webhook).
5. Save and activate the hotlist. Corvid will begin matching against it immediately.
6. Review match history from the Hotlist detail page or the Alarms section.
