Overview
The Permissions System lets you define exactly what each member of your organization can see and do. Every user is assigned an organization group that establishes their access level across all of Corvid.
Organization Groups
When a user joins your organization, you assign one of four groups:
Admin
Full access to all functions — cameras, events, operations, configuration, users, roles, memberships, and organization settings. Sees all sites and cameras without restriction.
Power User
Full access to all operational functions — cameras, events, clips, alerts, cases, hotlists, and more. Can create, edit, and delete resources just like an Admin. Cannot manage users, roles, or organization settings.
User (Standard User)
Read-only access to all operational areas. Can view cameras, events, clips, alerts, and sites across the organization, but cannot create, edit, or delete anything.
Member
No operational access. Can only view basic organization information. Cannot view cameras, events, or any other operational resource.
Summary
• Admin — Full operational access + organization management
• Power User — Full operational access, no organization management
• User — Read-only operational access
• Member — No operational access
