Overview
The Group Access tab in site settings shows which user groups have access to a site and what role each group holds. Use it to review and manage access across your organization without inspecting individual user accounts.
What the Group Access Tab Shows
• A list of all groups that have access to the site, either directly or through organization-level inheritance.
• The role each group holds for the site (e.g., Viewer, Operator, Admin).
• An Inherited badge on roles that come from organization-level permissions rather than site-specific assignments.
How to Review Group Access
1. Navigate to Sites from the sidebar.
2. Click on the site you want to review.
3. Open the Group Access tab in the site settings panel.
4. Review the list of groups and their roles. Inherited roles are marked with a badge.
How to Change Group Access
To add or remove a group, or to change a group's role on a site:
1. From the Group Access tab, click Add Group to assign a new group to the site.
2. To remove a group, click the menu next to the group entry and select Remove.
3. To change a role, select the new role from the dropdown next to the group's current assignment.
Note: Changes to inherited roles must be made at the organization level, not at the site level.
