How to share a camera or camera grid publicly

How to enable public visibility for a camera feed or camera grid so it can be accessed without logging in.

Overview

Corvid now supports public visibility for individual camera feeds and camera grids. When enabled, a public URL is generated that anyone can access without logging in — useful for sharing live views with external stakeholders or embedding feeds in dashboards.

How to Enable Public Visibility for a Camera

1. Navigate to Devices → Cameras.
2. Select the camera you want to share.
3. Open the camera's settings or detail panel.
4. Find the Public Visibility toggle and enable it.
5. A public URL will be generated. Copy it using the copy button next to the URL field.
6. Share the URL with anyone who needs access — no login is required to view it.

How to Enable Public Visibility for a Camera Grid

1. Navigate to Camera Grids.
2. Open the grid you want to share.
3. In the grid settings, find the Public Visibility option and enable it.
4. Copy the generated public URL and share it as needed.

Notes

• Public URLs do not require authentication. Be careful sharing them outside trusted recipients.
• Disabling public visibility immediately deactivates the public URL — anyone trying to access it will see an access denied page.
• Public pages show the live feed only; no account controls or settings are exposed.
