How to view playback from Search event details

Advanced Search now includes a View Playback action in event details. This lets you jump directly to the camera playback for the time window around any LPR or motion event without leaving the search results.

​How to View Playback from an Event
​
1. Navigate to Search.
2. Search for LPR events or motion events using your filters.
3. Click on any event in the results list to open the event detail panel on the right.
4. In the detail panel, find the View Playback button (located in the event actions area).
5. Click View Playback. The playback view will open, scrubbed to the time of the event on the corresponding camera.

​Notes

• View Playback is only available for events from cameras that have an active recording configuration. If a camera has no recording, the button will not appear.
• The playback view opens in context — you can scrub forward and backward from the event timestamp.
• This action is available for both LPR and motion events.
