Overview
Convoy Analysis identifies groups of vehicles that appear together repeatedly across multiple cameras within a defined time window. Use it to detect coordinated activity, investigate suspicious vehicle patterns, or understand how groups of vehicles move through your monitored areas.
What You Can Analyze
• Select a time range and one or more sites or cameras to scope the analysis.
• Define a convoy window — the maximum time gap between vehicles that groups them into a convoy.
• View identified convoys with the plates involved, number of co-occurrences, and the cameras where they were detected.
• Drill into any convoy to see the individual LPR events that make up each occurrence.
How to Run a Convoy Analysis
1. Navigate to Reports from the sidebar.
2. Select Convoy Analysis from the report type list.
3. Set your date range, site(s), and camera(s).
4. Configure the convoy time window (the maximum gap between vehicles to be grouped).
5. Review detected convoys in the results table. Click any convoy row to expand the individual events.
6. Export the results as a PDF if needed.
