Overview
After you create a clip in Corvid, the clip passes through processing before it becomes available for playback or download. Corvid now updates the clip's status in real time — you no longer need to refresh the page to see whether a clip is ready.
Clip Status Flow
Processing — The clip is being generated from the camera footage.
Ready — The clip is complete and available for playback, download, or sharing.
Failed — The clip could not be generated (e.g., footage unavailable for the requested time range).
What You'll See
A toast notification appears when a clip transitions to Ready or Failed.
The clip list and any open clip overlay update automatically to reflect the current status.
No page refresh is required.
Notes
Real-time updates require an active browser session. If you close the tab and return later, the clip list will show the final status when you reload.
If a clip fails, check that the requested time range falls within your organization's retention window.
