What is Devices?

The central page for managing all cameras connected to your Corvid organization — from adding new hardware to monitoring device status in real time.

Overview

The Devices page gives you full control over the cameras that power your Corvid deployment. Here you can add cameras, configure their stream settings, organize them by site, and monitor whether they are online or offline.

What You Can Manage

• Add Cameras — Connect new cameras via ONVIF or manual stream configuration.
• Device Status — See at a glance which cameras are online, offline, or degraded.
• Stream Configuration — Set stream resolution, frame rate, and protocol settings per device.
• Site Assignment — Assign cameras to specific sites for organized monitoring.
• LPR Settings — Configure which cameras are enabled for license plate recognition.

Common Use Cases

• Adding newly installed cameras to your organization.
• Diagnosing why a camera is offline or not streaming.
• Updating stream settings after a camera firmware change.
• Reorganizing cameras when a new site is set up.

How to Use It

1. Navigate to Devices from the sidebar.
2. View the list of all cameras and their current status.
3. Click Add Device to connect a new camera via ONVIF discovery or manual input.
4. Click any device to view details, update settings, or reassign it to a different site.

5. Use the status indicators to identify and troubleshoot offline cameras.
