Overview
Clips are saved video segments from your cameras. You can create a clip while reviewing footage in Playback — capturing a specific time window around an event for reference, investigation, or sharing.
Steps
Navigate to Playback for the camera you want to clip.
Use the timeline to locate the moment you want to capture. Scrub forward/backward to find the right position.
Click the Create Clip button (scissors icon or dedicated button in the toolbar).
Set the start time and end time for the clip. You can drag the handles on the timeline or enter times manually.
Give the clip a title so you can identify it later.
Click Save Clip. The clip is processed and saved to your Clips library.
Notes
Clip duration limits may apply depending on your organization's storage configuration.
Clips are stored in the cloud and are accessible from any device.
